We have decades of experience of building, preparing and providing on event support for customers with classic, historic and modern rally cars. We pride ourselves on providing a level of service that would not be out of place on a World Rally Championship event, even if our customer is competing on a national rally.

Historic rally cars are a passion of ours. Discovering the history and the character of individual vehicles is often as fascinating as the process of restoring and rebuilding the cars. We recently built an historic specification Mk2 Ford Escort RS2000 which was finished in period livery, we are currently restoring a Porsche 914/6 GT and we recently built a Mk1 Ford Escort RS1600 for a customer who then went on to win his class, by over two minutes, on his first event in the car. Group B rally car restoration and rebuilds are also a specialty; we can offer our customers the option of a sympathetic restoration using period parts and materials or the option of bringing a classic piece of rally machinery right up to date with modern equipment. The car was assembled from a bare body shell using many new parts. You can see the attention to detail and the quality of the build, along with other recent projects, in the Mk1 Ford Escort RS1600 gallery.

We are able to supply specific parts for a wide range of rally cars, both modern, classic and historic. We have access to a huge range of carbon fibre and composite parts available for the Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Evo, All models of Ford Escort , Citroen, BMW, Suzuki, Nova, Corsa and Peugeot as well as a number of other makes and models.

We can also source more general competition and safety equipment as well as a wide variety of workshop consumables and car consumables, items such as; brake fluid, engine and transmission oil, brake pads and specialist nuts and bolts.

We have a selection of cars, from Group N cars to the latest specification World Rally Cars, which are available for hire on any rally, anywhere in the world. We will take care of delivery of the car to events from our workshop in North Wales, arrange the necessary insurance, provide a recce car if it is required and supply all support vehicles and personnel including a fully equipped mobile workshop with awnings and a hospitality area. Other essential items, which may be subject to the personal preferences of the hirer, such as fuel, tyres, accommodation and travel can be arranged by our in–house event co-ordinator. Servicing and maintenance of the car is included in the hire charge but please contact us for further information and pricing. We pride ourselves on taking care of even the smallest details so that our customers can focus on the most important aspects of an event. We can arrange all of the logistics for both personnel and equipment so that crews can simply arrive and drive while their guests are entertained in our bespoke hospitality area.

The Ramsport management team has considerable experience in developing young driving talent. We know that to succeed at the very highest level of rallying takes more than just natural talent and financial backing; physical training and nutrition, contractual guidance, driving coaching and media and PR are just as important. We aim to create a structured programme that will enable young drivers to ascend through the ranks of rallying in the most appropriate way. In addition to guiding a number of young drivers to many national rally wins we are immensely proud to have played our part in establishing the career of the Norwegian driver Andreas Mikkelsen who joined us when he was just 16 years old. In 2011 he was crowned the Intercontinental Rally Challenge champion.
